On the foothills of the Himalayas, embraced by the over- arching vales, Bhutan developed its own civilization. With over 80,0000people in harmony amid natures' bounty, evolved itself as a country with unique identity.

As the last Mahayana Buddhism in the world, earning sobriquet such as ' happiest country in the world' - Bhutan's untouched way of life, its pristine ecosystem and wildlife, and the matchless scenic beauty of its majestic peaks and blossoming valleys, Bhutan is a must visit.

For never being colonized, owning a history largely derived from oral tradition and classical literature with a population living in seclusion until the turn of the century- Bhutan as it is progressing through its happiness paradigm - for the Bhutanese, our country holds pride in everything. For a small nation, literally just a dot in the world map, it is an honor to be recognized by the world today.

In the eight century Guru Padmasambhava, established several scared religious sites which are important places of pilgrimage for the Buddhist world today

Over the years many other saints and religious figures helped shape Bhutan's history and develop its religion.

we owe everything to Guru Padmashabhava as a spiritual destination. it was in the eight century that Bhutan was blessed by the journey of the Guru to have Bhutan dotted with temples and monasteries in all the regions of this small country. Up high in the alpines or in the lowest vales, one is bound to find spiritual sites abundantly.

However, its was the coming of ZABDRUNG NAWANG NAMGYEL in 1616 that nation was born. After him, in 1909, after choosing one rightful King, the WANGCHUCK DYANSTY began in Bhutan. Fifth in the line, the Dragon King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the country has already enjoyed hundred years of monarchy.

Today, Bhutan is a democratic country. Opening the world to the  world outside, the journey of tourism began in 70's.
